Several years ago, it became apparent that the fire service would be washing gear more often in the pursuit of cancer mitigation. What was needed was a glove that would not dry out, stiffen or shrink after repeated wash/dry cycles. It was time for an all-fabric glove. The Flame™ glove from FireCraft Safety is designed to be washed and dried along with your turnout gear. Because frequent washing of your gear is becoming common, you need a glove that can withstand the same cleaning treatment.
Care was taken to design patterns that would result in a very dexterous glove. The glove was built to withstand longer exposure to heat, both conductive and radiant. Using Kevlar® and Nomex® materials offers high levels of puncture and cut protection.
